  • Product Description
    ReflectShield® 1440P iis a three-layer composite system designed to provide excellent protection for components that must survive in high temperature areas. Aluminum is used as the outer layer for reflectance of radiant heat while the second inner layer utilizes polyester for insulation. The third layer can be a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) or a second layer of aluminum. The resulting product can then be slit to width and length or die cut into complex geometric shapes.

    Use of a pressure sensitive adhesive allows the product to be adhered directly onto a component, which reduces both tooling costs and lead times. If mechanical attachment methods are preferred, the PSA is replaced by the second layer of aluminum. Accessories such as clips can then be assembled to the product for attachment purposes.

    ReflectShield 1440P does an outstanding job or dissipating surface temperatures to protect components and its low profile allows the product to be used under carpet as well as in engine compartment and underbody applications.
