Product DescriptionFyreJacket® 1615 is a knitted fiberglass sleeve coated with silicone rubber that provides thermal protection up to +260°C (+500°F). The sleeve provides excellent protection for cables, hoses, and hydraulic lines. FyreJacket 1615 also has the capability to protect fuel and gas lines against short term hazards such as a flame blast. When burn-through is a threat, the specially designed sleeve construction retards the penetration of flame. This allows critical components to continue to function for a short amount of time.
In addition to protecting assemblies and components from high temperatures and flame, FyreJacket 1615 can be used to insulate lines and cables. This type of insulation protects external components from heat while often increasing the efficiency of the internal components.
The braided construction of FyreJacket 1615 allows excellent flexibility in temperatures as low as -60°C (-76°F). The silicone coating is highly resistant to a wide range of solvents and fluids. -
